Chester v Chorleybr/Chester FC, our opponents Chorley FC and Locking Stumps Community Primary School came together before the game to remember Ciaran Geddes.br/br/Blues fan Ciaran was just seven-years-old when he collapsed while playing football at school after suffering a cardiac arrest and tragically lost his life.br/br/Next month marks 10 years since Ciaran’s passing and in that time Ciaran’s Cause, the charity set up in his memory, has provided more than £100,000 worth of life-saving defibrillators to schools and sports clubs.br/br/Chorley manager Jamie Vermiglio is also the headteacher at Locking Stumps Community Primary School and our two clubs hope tomorrow provides an opportunity to remember a very special little boy, offer support to Ciaran’s family and raise awareness of the importance of defibrillators as well as showing our appreciation of the work Ciaran’s mum Marika Latham for this cause.br/br/Joined by members of Ciaran’s family for the game along with pupils and teachers from his school, with the children providing a guard of honour for the two teams.
