But, as a brief introduction, below you will find a potted history about me and my work.

I am based in scenic North Wales about 10 miles from the Chester border. I regularly work throughout North Wales and North West England, but also travel further if required.

Prior to settling in Wales I studied photography at Mid-Cheshire School of Art and at West Surrey College of Art & Design before going on to work freelance in Glasgow and London including with Simon Guttman’s prestigious Report/IFL agency based on Oxford Street.

My career background is in national and local news and the media. I have photographed famous names from the world of politics and entertainment, and royalty, and covered major news events over the last three decades.

On returning from London to my native Chester I worked for 16 years as Group Picture Editor for NWN Media/Newsquest newspapers. 

My favoured fields are Sports/Action, PR, Education, Community, Politics, News, Photojournalism, Events, Travel.

My most recent press work has included commissions for Newsquest newspapers, Reach newspapers, and the Non-League Paper. 

As official photographer for Chester FC I also cover football matches around Britain.

In the PR field I have produced work for Ceidiog PR, Pendine Park Care, Red Communications, Marks & Spencers, the North Wales Police Crime Commissioner, Ifor Williams Trailers, Lock Stock, South Denbighshire Community Partnership, Hafod Renewables, Wrexham Business Professionals, Oddfellows north west, Kellogg's, Cartrefi Conwy, Anwyl Homes, South Caernarfon Creameries, Mold Food Festival, Anglesey Food Festival, Cwmni Da television, The Trafford Centre, Village Bakery, Dovecote Brewery, North Wales Tourism, Mencap, and several North Wales schools, including prospectus photography for Ysgol Clywedog, and Ysgol Llanbedr.

Outside photography I am an exhibited artist, having produced screen prints and linocuts on industrial and social history themes. You will find some examples of these in the artwork section of this website.
